1 Purpose of the contract 1 The OMHM is issuing a public call for tenders for the construction of new premises, modernization of garbage premises and related work (residual materials management) at Habitations Ahuntsic at 10333, rue Berri, Montréal, Québec, H3L 3T4 in the borough of Ahuntsic-Cartierville. 2 The project consists of carrying out all the work in accordance with the contract documents. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the construction of a new GMR (Gestion des matières résiduelles) and modernized garbage room, and related work. 3 The work will be carried out in a 5-storey building comprising 75 senior housing units. 4 During the work, the units will be occupied. 2.duration of work 2.1 According to current planning, work is scheduled to start as soon as the letter of commitment is signed, but this date may be modified by OMHM. In such a case, the modification cannot be used to justify a request for extras on the part of the successful bidder. 2.2 The work must be carried out within a maximum of 114 working days from the date confirmed for the start of work in the letter of commitment.
