Luxembourg - Construction of landfills

Description

Creation of a base sealing in the 4th stage. Expansion stage on flatly inclined base areas and 1:3 inclined slopes with the following structure: - Earthworks to create the subgrade geological barrier, - mineral sealing, d = 0.75 m, 3-layer, - PEHD plastic sealing sheets, d = 2.50 mm, - geotextile, 1 200 g/m2, - sand protection layer, d = 0.20 m, - drainage layer of gravel, d = 0.30/0.50 m, - drainage pipes of PEHD, DN 160 to 400, - application of rotting waste, - waste transfer. The waterproofing area is approx. 18 000 m2. Furthermore, the following are to be extended: - degassing pipes, - gas wells, - intermediate covers, - access roads to the waste installation sites, - renovation of a leachate storage tank 140 m3,- renovation of a washing area, - renovation and renewal of the landfill road (asphalt). Appropriate self-monitoring and work and safety precautions must be taken into account and implemented by the construction company. All construction work must be carried out in accordance with a quality assurance plan. The control of all work is carried out by an external third party. Duration in days (to be counted from the date of award of contract): 700.
