Project insurance for the construction project named under II 1.1) for the Owner and all companies commissioned by the Owner with the planning, supervision and execution of this construction project.The contract includes contract management in Lot 1 and contract participation in Lot 2. Hessische Landesbahn GmbH is planning to build a new workshop in Butzbach.The following measures in particular are planned for the implementation of the project: Construction of a workshop hall for operational and heavy maintenance on 8 tracks, construction of an operations building with technical rooms (house connection rooms), storage areas, component workshops, social and sanitary areas as well as office and training rooms, construction of a combined building with one track for wheelset processing (URD) and one track for underfloor cleaning, construction of four storage buildings, Construction of a track system to the connection point to the existing track system with overhead line, construction of track field and street lighting, construction of the necessary outdoor and traffic facilities (plant road), electrification of the feeder track from Butzbach station to the maintenance facility, construction of a technically secured level crossing in the course of the roadside access to the maintenance facility.The investment sum for this project is estimated at EUR 121.275 million. Of this amount, approx. EUR 4.3 million has already been invoiced under an existing contract. The new insurance contract will replace the existing contract. The currently planned construction period is expected to last until December 31, 2025. The insurance contract will commence after completion of the tender procedure with the date of the award of contract following a currently existing advance cover (type H-EU). In the liability insurance, the sum insured per claim is EUR 20,000,000 lump sum for personal injury, property damage and financial loss, including the benefits from the environmental liability insurance. In the planning liability insurance, a separate sum insured per claim of EUR 10,000,000 lump sum for property damage and financial loss is available. The aforementioned sums are triple maximized.The Extendend Maintenance in the Construction Performance and Erection Insurance part is 42 months. The extended liability is 10 years for liability insurance and 5 years for environmental liability and environmental damage insurance.The general deductible is at least EUR 10,000.The deductible does not apply to personal injury. Contractual participation in the project insurance for the project mentioned under II 1.1). For a description of the procurement, please refer to the explanations on Lot 1 under II. 2.4).The insurance contract shall commence on the date of the award of contract.
