Vattenfall Wärme Berlin AG currently operates 8 large power plants in Berlin for the generation of district heating and electricity, approx. 12 medium to small CHP plants as well as the district heating distribution network.Vattenfall Europe New Energy Ecopowert GmbH operates the RDF CHP in Rostock.The purpose of this invitation to tender is to commission framework contract work in the area of "scaffolding work" for Lot 1 and framework contract work in the area of "insulation work" for Lot 2 on call for the above-mentioned locations. The invitation to tender covers all services that are normally required in the above areas at the generation sites. It is expected that the potential contractors will be able to ensure an arrival time of < 2 hours/on site.
Lot 1: Framework contracts for scaffolding works:Framework contract with Vattenfall Wärme Berlin Aktiengesellschaft as client for scaffolding works for the client's sites in Berlin as well asFramework contract with Vattenfall Europe New Energy Ecopowert GmbH as client for scaffolding works for the site in Rostock.Both framework contracts will be awarded within the same lot, so the contractor for both framework contracts must be the same. Applications for only one of the two framework contracts (e.g. only Berlin or only Rostock) within Lot 1 are not possible.Lot 1 comprises the supplies and services for scaffolding work within the scope of ongoing maintenance, projects and inspections at the power plant sites and the heat generator and heat distribution sites of Vattenfall Wärme Berlin AG in Berlin and Vattenfall Europe New Energy Ecopowert GmbH in Rostock with the following service contents:1. the design, calculation, drawing, provision, erection, maintenance, modification and dismantling of scaffolding.2. the execution of scaffolding work for the power plant sites and the heat generator and heat distribution sites of Vattenfall Wärme Berlin AG in Berlin and Vattenfall Europe New Energy Ecopowert GmbH in Rostock.The execution of scaffolding work during ongoing maintenance, in projects and during inspections.2 Due to the required training period in the event of a change of supplier, the start of performance will be staggered.- Contract period of the framework agreement: 1.1.2022 to 30.9.2026,- Start of performance for lot no. 1 Scaffolding work: 1.1.2022.More details can be found in the award documents.For both lots:The awarding authority reserves the right to make use of its right to bundle lots. Applicants may apply either separately for one lot only or for both Lot 1 and Lot 2. Depending on the possible award constellation, the contracting authority intends to conclude either one framework contract per contracting authority/location or two framework contracts per contracting authority/location per lot.Further details are given in VI.3.B.4 of this notice and in the contract documents. Lot 2 Framework contracts for insulation works:Framework contract with Vattenfall Wärme Berlin Aktiengesellschaft as contracting entity for insulation works for the contracting entity's sites in Berlin andFramework contract with Vattenfall Europe New Energy Ecopowert GmbH as contracting entity for insulation works for the site in Rostock.Both framework contracts will be awarded within the same lot, so that the contractor must be the same for both framework contracts. Applications for only one of the two framework contracts (e.g. only Berlin or only Rostock) within Lot 2 are not possible.Lot 2 comprises the installation including delivery of the necessary material, the conversion as well as the dismantling of insulation within the scope of ongoing maintenance, projects and inspections at the power plant sites and the heat generator and heat distribution sites of Vattenfall Wärme Berlin AG in Berlin and Vattenfall Europe New Energy Ecopowert GmbH in Rostock.Due to the required training period for a change of supplier in one category or in both categories, the start of performance will be staggered.- Contract period of the framework agreement: 1.1.2022 to 30.9.2026,- Start of performance for the category insulation work: 1.7.2022.More details can be found in the tender documents.
