China - China – Domestic bus manufacturer seeking advanced renewable energy technologies

A large coach manufacturer in Shandong province, which was established in 1976. It is a traditional coach and bus manufacturer in China who designs, develops, produces and sells a range of highway coaches, as well as city, commuter, school and renewable energy buses.

According to the central government’s incentive policy, the coach manufacturer is developing renewable energy coaches and buses in order to reduce its high exhaust emissions. Currently, the company is researching and developing both hybrid and electric buses. Hence, they are seeking a potential partner from a UK based coach manufacturer specialising in renewable energy.

Currently, they are manufacturing six kinds of renewable energy coaches. However, they are open to talk with renewable energy technology suppliers who can provide them with even more advanced renewable energy technologies within the coach and bus sector. They are particularly interested in acquiring leading renewable energy battery technologies to help develop their range of products.
