CONSTRUCTION
PUBLIC WORKS SERVICE CENTRE OF THE CITY OF GASPÉ

The City of Gaspé is requesting bids for the following project, the work of which is receiving financial assistance under the Quebec-Municipalities Infrastructure Program:

Construction of the Gaspé City Public Works Service Centre

Individuals or companies interested in this call for tenders may obtain the bid documents, starting June 26, 2019, by contacting the Electronic Tendering Service (OTS) by contacting a representative by telephone at 1-866-669-7326 or by visiting the website www.seao.ca . Documents can be obtained at a cost determined by the OACS.

Bids must be accompanied by a certified cheque made payable to Ville de Gaspé in the amount of 10% of the bid, including all applicable taxes, or a bid bond issued by a bank or insurance company for the same amount, valid for a period of ninety (90) days following the opening date of the bids, as well as by all other documents required in the tender documents.

Regardless of the method of shipment that the bidder chooses to adopt, to be validly received, all bids must be in the hands of the Clerk of the City of Gaspé or her official representative, at City Hall, 25 rue de l'Hôtel-de-ville, Gaspé, G4X 2A5, in sealed envelope, in one original copy plus one legible copy, no later than August 15, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. with the following entry on the envelope: "Submission - Centre de services des travaux publics de la ville de Gaspé". Bids will be open at City Hall on the same day starting at 11:01 a.m. and the presence of bidders is desirable.

Only persons, companies or firms holding a contractor's licence and having their principal place of business in Quebec or, where an intergovernmental agreement is applicable, in a province or territory covered by that agreement, will be eligible to bid. Bidding contractors are responsible for selecting subcontractors, both for their compliance with the Régie du bâtiment and for their solvency and the content of their bid, and must inform them of the conditions they intend to impose on them and ensure that they hold the required permits and licences.

The City of Gaspé does not undertake to accept the lowest or any of the bids received and incurs no obligation towards the bidders.
