NOTICE OF PROPOSED PROCUREMENT
Reissue of Solicitation of Offers. This solicitation of offers cancels and supersedes previous solicitation of offers number W8486-217897/A dated September 12, 2023 with a closing of November 23, 2023 at 14:00 EST. A debriefing or feedback session will be provided upon request to offerors who offered on the previous solicitation.
The Department of National Defence (DND) has a requirement for the items detailed below:
Item 1:
GSIN: N1305 – Ammunition, through 30 mm
UNSPSC: 46101601 – Defence or law enforcement ammunition
Description: Cartridge Calibre .303 British Blanks Short
The requirement is for the supply to the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) of Cartridge Calibre .303 Inch British Blanks Short ammunition. The .303 calibre blank ammunition will be for use in the Lee-Enfield No. 4 bolt action rifle for ceremonial drill and exhibitions.
Quantity: 75,000 cartridges – Delivery to Canadian Forces Ammunition Depot (CFAD) Dundurn, Saskatchewan on or before 1 March 2025
75,000 cartridges – Delivery to CFAD Angus, Milton, Ontario on or before 1 March 2025
Unit of Issue: Each, per cartridge
1. Security Requirements
There are no security requirements associated with this procurement.
2. Controlled Goods
This procurement may be subject to the Controlled Goods Program.
3. The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
4. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
