Services of the technical equipment according to § 55 HOAI 2021, reconstruction and extension of the historical photo archive of the Rautenstrauch-Joest-Museum,Kulturzentrum am Neumarkt, Cäcilienstraße 29, 50667 Cologne, Germany.
The Kulturzentrum am Neumarkt, or KAN for short, was planned by the architectural firm Schneider und Sendelbach and built by the general contractor ARGE KAN. It opened in 2010 and combines two important museums under one roof: the Rautenstrauch-Joest-Museum with cultural objects and artifacts from all over the world and the Museum Schnütgen with art objects from the Middle Ages.The historical photo archive is part of the Rautenstrauch-Joest-Museum. It comprises over 100,000 objects from the early days of photography to the 1960s and has been unusable since 2010 due to water damage. Due to meanwhile changed requirements for the photo archive as well as for additional depot areas, the previous area of the archive is to be deconstructed, extended and adapted to the current requirements for the storage of such objects.This planning was provided for the cost group 400 and the service phases 1 and 2 HOAI by the engineering office GEFA Ingenieure GmbH, which, however, has filed for insolvency in 2021 and is no longer available for the further service phases. Now, the planning is to be continued and completed by a new engineering office on the basis of the planning provided so far.The required services include services according to the attached draft fee contract for the plant groups 1-5 and 7+8 according to § 53 HOAI 2021,1. waste water, water and gas plants,2. heat supply plants,3. ventilation plants,4. heavy current plants,5. telecommunication and information technology plants,7. use-specific plants,8. building automation,as well as the information in Annex 1 to the contract notice. Annex 1 of this contract notice contains the project/measure description, the draft fee contract the performance profile and supplementary the project description.The commissioning of the services is carried out in stages, initially service phase 3 with "Special service: incorporation into the already existing service phases 1 and 2". Optionally, service phases 4-9 can be commissioned in stages. The chargeable costs for cost group 400 amount to approximately 2,840,000.00 euros (net) according to the cost estimate of 08.12.2020 of the engineering firm GEFA. Due to the drastic price increase for the manufacturing costs within the last two years, this cost estimate will be charged with 41.2% via the price index adjustment (source: Destatis). This increases the chargeable costs to approx. 4,007,000.00 euros (net).The start of project processing is planned immediately after conclusion of the contract. The planned term of the contract is 60 months.The contractor is to provide its services in such a way that the following deadline can be met:Completion of service stage 1: 31.10.2024The services are to be commissioned in stages, initially service stage 3 with "Special service: incorporation into the existing service stages 1 and 2". Optionally, service phases 4-9 are to be commissioned in stages. There is no right to further commissioning.The complete description of the procurement is listed in Annex 1 to the contract notice and must be observed.An application form (Annex 2 Application for participation/application form to the contract notice) must be used for the application for participation.
