FORT INDIANTOWN GAP IS NOW ACCESS CONTROLLED. IF YOU ARE NOT A CURRENT CONTRACTOR WITH BADGE ACCESS, YOU MUST STOP AT THE VISITORS CENTER (MAP IN CONTRACT DOCUMENTS) TO OBTAIN A DAY PASS THAT WILL ALLOW YOU ON BASE FOR THE PRE-BID SITE VISIT. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A CURRENT DRIVERS LICENSE, PASSPORT, ETC. FOR IDENITY PROOFING. THIS PROCESS TAKES ABOUT 10-15 MINUTES SO PLEASE ARRIVE AT LEAST 1/2 HOUR/45 MINUTES PRIOR FOR YOUR BADGE. IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS, PLEASE EMAIL ME AT TREBUCK@PA.GOV.This PROJECT IS A STANDARD LOW BID PROJECT and includes:  GENERAL CONSTRUCTION, HVAC, PLUMBING, AND ELECTRICAL SERVICES.The work under this Contract shall generally consist of, but not necessarily be limited to, providing all labor, material, devices, tools and equipment required for the construction of a mechanical and pump room, Insulated wall/ceiling panels for coolers and freezers, upgrades to the existing mechanical and electrical systems, Hybrid Ground Source Heat Pump Loop, Photovoltaic Solar Array and all associated infrastructure to support these upgrades for Building 11-089 located at Fort Indiantown Gap, Annville, Lebanon County, PA and shall be in total accordance with the specifications and drawings and subject to the terms and conditions of all other Contract Documents.MANDATORY PRE-BID CONFERENCE:  The Pre-Bid Conference will take place on THURSDAY MAY 16, 2024, at 9:00AM at Building 11-11 (map attached in bid documents), Fort Indiantown Gap, Annville, Lebanon County, PA. ALL POTENTIAL BIDDERS MUST BE PRESENT TO SUBMIT A BID SUBMISSION.Questions are due back by COB 4:30PM EST on June 5, 2024.DATE FOR RECEIVING BIDS IS THURSDAY JUNE 17, 2024, AT 2:00P.M.The Department of General Services Public Works and the Bureau of Diversity, Inclusion and Small Business Opportunities (BDISBO) identified this procurement as eligible for the setting of Small Diverse Business (SDB) and/or Veteran Business Enterprise (VBE) participation goals.This is a significant programmatic change from the SDB and SB Participation program contained in prior Projects issued by Public Works.  Bidders now must agree to meet the SDB and VBE Participation Goals in full or demonstrate that they have made Good Faith Efforts to meet the Goals.
