Description
SCOPE OF WORK
APHIS will award a firm, fixed-price, commercial supplies IDIQ Contract for the Boll Weevil Traps limited to the USDA, APHIS, IS, located at the following location:Â USDA APHIS IS, 3549 E. 14TH St., Ste FG, Brownsville, TX 78521.Â
OBJECTIVES
Trapping identifies the location of boll weevil populations and measures their densities.
The USDA require BW Scout Traps, BW Lure (Grandlure) and Diclorvos insecticide strips, to conduct insect presence and levels of population survey to support the decision-making program activities. Trapping is the first line of attack in boll weevil eradication operations.
TASKS
The contractor shall provide the material, according to the specifications provided by USDA APHIS IS.
DELIVERY
Importation Services need to be provided at the Mexican Point of entry, according to the needs of the Mexican fruit fly program. Importation permit needs to be delivered to an USDA employee at the Mexican Point of entry.
