Description

Part of the 2.2 billion euro project extending the Antwerp ring, the new Scheldt tunnel will provide an additional connection between the left and right bank.

Antwerp is split by the Scheldt river, and at the moment the roads around Antwerp are heavily congested. Much of this traffic needs to bypass Antwerp City to reach the port, The Netherlands and the west coast of Belgium. This tunnel will create a much needed passageway for traffic.

The commissioning agency are looking for contractors and sub-contractors for the works themselves. Companies who can deliver large-scale road infrastructure works are encouraged to register their interest below. This will be sent to the DIT team at The British Embassy in Brussels who will provide futher info.
