PUBLIC CALL FOR TENDERS
ASPHALTING 2024
The Municipality of Sainte-Claire is requesting tenders for the installation of asphalt concrete on municipal streets.
The specifications and tender documents can be obtained as of February 8, 2024, on the Système de pondération d'appel d'offres (SEAO) at the following address: www.seao.ca.
To be valid, each bid must be accompanied by a certified cheque for an amount equal to 10% of the total amount of the bid, including taxes, made payable to the Municipality of Sainte-Claire, or by a bid bond, valid for
90 days, in the same amount. Bids must also be accompanied by letters of intent for a performance bond in an amount equivalent to 50% of the total bid price, including taxes.
Bids must be sealed in envelopes marked "Soumission Asphaltage 2024" and bearing the bidder's name. They will be received at the office of the Municipality of Sainte-Claire at 135, rue Principale, Sainte-Claire (Québec) G0R 2V0, until 2 p.m., local time,
March 14, 2024, to be publicly opened on the same day, starting at 2 p.m., at the same location, in the presence of interested parties.
The Municipality of Sainte-Claire does not undertake to accept the lowest or any of the bids received and reserves the right to disregard any non-conformity or irregularity that does not run counter to equality between bidders or serve the best interests of the Municipality.
The Municipality of Sainte-Claire shall not be liable for any claims or actions for costs or losses suffered by bidders as a result of such decisions.
