Description
The Town of Rosemère is soliciting bids for the following project:
DESCRIPTION :
Ash tree work in the City of Rosemère for the year 2019.
OPENING OF BIDS:
Sealed bids, bearing the above-mentioned project number, addressed to the City of Rosemère, c/o the Assistant Clerk, 100 Charbonneau Street, Rosemère, J7A 3W1, will be received until 10:00 a.m. on November 14, 2018, to be publicly opened at the same location at that time.

EVALUATION OF THE PERFORMANCE OF THE SUCCESSFUL TENDERERS:
The City of Rosemère's performance policy for successful contractors applies to this contract according to the specifications set out in the general specifications. The person responsible for this policy is Mr. Simon Coulombe.
BID SECURITY:
To be valid, each bid must be accompanied by a certified cheque, drawn from a chartered bank or a bid bond issued by an insurance company for an amount equal to 10% of the total amount of the bid, payable to the order of the Ville de Rosemère. This bond must be valid for a period of 90 days from the date of opening of the bids. The bid security in the form of a cheque may be retained and cashed as a performance bond for the duration of the contract.
In addition, the bid must be accompanied by a letter of consent issued by an insurance company appearing on the list of the Autorité des Marchés Financiers (AMF), guaranteeing the issuance, in favour of the City of Rosemère, of a performance bond and a bond of the contractor's obligations for pledges, materials and services if the bidder becomes the successful bidder. Each of the guarantees must correspond to 50% of the bid amount.
ELIGIBILITY :
Only bids from contractors with an establishment in Quebec or in a territory covered by an intergovernmental market liberalization agreement applicable to the municipality will be considered for contract award.
RESERVE :
The City does not undertake to accept the lowest or any of the bids received, nor to incur any liability or costs of any kind to the bidder(s).
