Description

The tender for the engineering services for the qualification of the green corridor will be divided into three lots:- Lot 1: Services of an outdoor installation planner, LP 1-9- Lot 2: Engineering services for measures to prevent flooding and for the conversion to "Sponge City", LP 1-9- Lot 3: Engineering services for the planning of the technical equipment (street lighting), LP 1-9The awarding of the contract can be made for one or more lots.many residents would like to see the areas and open spaces upgraded, maintained and maintained. The current design of the area favours heavy littering. In some cases, complicated area cuts cause inconsistencies in the responsibility with regard to maintenance. A redesign is intended to reduce anxiety spaces, promote low-barrier design & prevent vandalism and create important & attractive meeting places for the neighbourhood. In addition, an important contribution to the development of Berlin as a "Sponge City" is to be made.The following measures are foreseen:- Demand surveys & actions to promote a discussion process on the redesign of the green space, with the aim of a barrier-reduced redesign of the green space with the participation of local residents - Development of a sustainable care & maintenance strategy with owners & users - Creation of a guidance system - Creation of open spaces & squares - Creation of attractive residential areas - Development of a sustainable care & maintenance strategy with owners & users - Creation of a guidance system - Creation of open spaces & squares - Creation of attractive residential areas - Development of a new, more sustainable and sustainable green space, Encounter & activity locations - traffic-safe crossing/lighting along the path with public significance, school route safety - consideration & creation of higher-level path connections - measures for flood safety & conversion to "Sponge City" The construction costs for the open-air facility planning (Lot 1) are approx. 4.4 million €, for the civil engineering measures (lot 2) approx. 437,000 € and for the technical facilities (lot 3) approx. 250,000 €. The tested BPU is to be available by 10/2020, construction is planned for the period from 03/2021 to 10/2023. The construction is planned to take place in up to 5 construction phases. Due to the necessary coordination, the local presence during the planning & construction period must be ensured at tight intervals.Participation procedure:No participation procedure has yet taken place for the design of this green space. The planning and construction of the facility must urgently be adapted to the needs of the current residents. A comprehensive planning and participation process is to be carried out in cooperation with the neighbourhood management for the redesign of the green corridor and financed with the funds of the 'Zukunft Stadtgrün'.The planning and participation process for the redesign of the green corridor is to include- early, as comprehensive as possible, outreach participation of the users and affected parties in the planning of redesign measures,- a contribution to the self-commitment of public and private building owners for the necessary care and maintenance investments as well as the creation of communities of responsibility for maintaining cleanliness and attractiveness,- a planning in which the results of the participation process are to be taken up and as a result a BPU and other necessary documents for applying for other subsidies are to be available.In order to optimise rainwater management, the landscape architecture office to be commissioned must carry out a condition assessment and evaluation in cooperation with the specialist planning office and incorporate the findings into the residents' participation. In addition, a planner must record, check and optimise the lighting. After recording the residents' ideas for the redesign of the public space, the findings of the condition assessment must be compared with the residents' ideas. To this end, planners must work out alternative solutions that can be reconciled with economic and technical requirements in a dialogue.
