Description
The City of Sainte-Marguerite-du-Lac-Masson requires quotes for professional architectural services for cost estimates, preparation of plans & specifications and supervision for the demolition of the old municipal garage and the construction of the new one.
This work is eligible for financial assistance from the Ministère des Affaires municipales et de l'Habitation (MAMH) as part of the Municipal Infrastructure Repair and Construction Program (RÉCIM).
This contract is subject to the Trade and Cooperation Agreement between Quebec and Ontario (ACCQO), the Agreement on the Liberalization of Government Procurement in Quebec and New Brunswick (AQNB) and the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA) and is conditional on the approval of Borrowing By-law # 137-2020.
The tender documents and addenda, if any, will be available, as of November 18, 2020, through the electronic tendering system (ODS) at the following address: www.seao.ca. The fees are set according to the rates established by the OEBS.
Sealed bids will be received by the authorized representative of the City Clerk's Department at 88 Masson Road, Sainte-Marguerite-du-Lac-Masson, no later than 3:00 p.m. on December 8, 2020.
The City does not undertake to accept either the lowest or any of the tenders received, and declines all liability to any of the tenderers in the event of rejection of all tenders. It may accept a bid in whole or in part. The contract shall be awarded at the sole discretion of the City Council using the weighting system and the City shall not be bound in any way other than by a resolution of its Council.
Furthermore, the City shall not be liable for any errors or omissions in any written notices or documents conveyed by electronic means, nor shall the City be liable for any errors or omissions in any written notices or documents conveyed by electronic means. Consequently, all bidders must ensure, before submitting a bid, that they obtain all documents related to this call for tenders.
The firm whose tender is selected shall not, in any way whatsoever, work as a professional for the contractor who will be retained during the execution of the construction work.
