Description

The ZfT is also intended to train a new generation of globally networked university graduates in deep-sea research who, in addition to a sound scientific basis, will also gain deep insights into the technologies involved in deep-sea research. The aim of the ZfT is to raise the existing, comprehensive and internationally oriented profile in the marine sciences in the state of Bremen to a new level, to be located in the vicinity of the MARUM - Centre for Marine Environmental Sciences and to cooperate closely with MARUM. Since 2012, MARUM has been the first and only "Research Faculty" of the University of Bremen and, at the same time, the hub of the university's scientific focus "Marine, Polar and Climate Research" (one of 6 scientific focuses). MARUM also operates one of the three IODP drill core repositories worldwide and, together with the Alfred Wegener Institute Helmholtz Centre for Polar and Marine Research in Bremerhaven, a World Data Centre for Marine Environmental Sciences (PANGAEA). This largest university focus is supported by the state of Bremen through the long-term state science focus "Marine Sciences" The new building is planned with approx. 4 013 m2 NUF and the construction costs (KG 300+400) are estimated at EUR 18.00 million net.The completion of the building is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2022. the services to be awarded consist of:- work phases 1 to 2 structural design in accordance with §§ 49 HOAI.optional to commissioning:- work phases 3 to 6 structural design in accordance with §§ 49 HOAI as optional commissioning by designation of the AG (if necessary. special services in several work phases structural design according to §§ 49 HOAI as optional assignment by determination of the client (if necessary in stages to be determined by the client).representatives of the user and from the official context will participate if necessary in an advisory capacity in the candidate selection and the award negotiations.the awarding authority can be supported and accompanied in an advisory capacity by D&K drost consult GmbH from Hamburg in the operative implementation of this VgV procedure.
