Description

With the conversion of an existing building from 1998 to the Central Animal Laboratory (ZTL), the extensive consolidation of all laboratory animal housing on the premises of the University Hospital Magdeburg A.ö.R. is to be achieved. The existing building has a total usable space of 5,500 m2. An NF of approx. 2,400 m2 is planned for the area of laboratory animal husbandry. Animal husbandry at the Medical Faculty is currently restricted to mice, rats and rabbits. In particular, the increase in capacity for keeping mouse and rat strains must be taken into account. In addition to merging the experimental animal facilities, the extension is necessary for the following areas: Experimental animal area/service area/social area/office space. Currently, the ZTL is already located in the existing building, on the ground floor level. In the course of the conversion, the functional expansion is to take place in the basement (service area and quarantine). The main focus of the conversion is on the consistent structuring of the required hygiene areas, with the necessary lifts being separated in terms of personnel and economic goods. The technical installations are to be renewed/reconstructed in adaptation to the changed use, with a focus on the ventilation and air-conditioning systems.Animal husbandry in the existing building is to be ensured during the conversion measures.the usable and traffic areas must be optimally designed, the principle of barrier-free accessibility is to be fully taken into account. The implementation of the measure will take place in construction phases A programme proposal (building application) has already been drawn up within the framework of the financing planning, and a total investment cost of approx. EUR 17.3 million gross (KG 200-700 DIN 276 including project management) is available for the project. This budget framework is regarded as the upper cost limit to which the planning services in the service specifications to be commissioned (§§ 34, 51, 55 HOAI) are to be geared. The term specified in Section II.2.7 refers to this date. Completion and final invoicing must be completed by 31.12.2022, which requires completion (including proof of use) by 30.9.2022. The awarding authority/client expects that in the event of a contract being awarded, the offered project team will be immediately and fully available to ensure scheduling. If necessary, an increase in team strength must be secured/enabled to ensure that deadlines are met.
