The project "Vocational training in renewable energy (RE) and energy efficiency (EnEff) in Côte d'Ivoire" aims to provide the market for RE and EnEff with more local, specialised technical and management know-how. a large number of well-trained specialists is an important prerequisite for the promotion of RE/EnEff, without which a RE/EnEff market cannot develop. In Côte d'Ivoire, these skilled workers have so far only existed in small numbers, a problem that is even more serious outside the large cities.To address this shortage, the project comprises 4 outputs:(1) The improved further training offer on RE/EnEff, which is geared to the needs of the private sector, has been implemented;(2) Training courses have been expanded to include topics on RE/EnEff;(3) A coordination mechanism between SMEs and public and private vocational schools in the RE/EnEff sector has been set up;(4) The capacities of SMEs for the dissemination of solar and EnEff technologies have been strengthened;(3) The project pursues a multi-level approach and focuses on the levels of personnel and organisational development as well as network building. At the personnel level, selected vocational education and training personnel are strengthened in their competences and supported in their role as multipliers in imparting action-oriented competences in the field of RE/EnEff. At the organisational level, public, private and civil society vocational schools and business associations are advised on how to improve their core processes for cooperative training and market development in the field of RE/EnEff. At the network level, the project supports the establishment of dialogue platforms between business and education providers as well as knowledge management and exchange of experience. the target groups of the project are:- trainees, students and graduates of the vocational and higher education system as well as young adults seeking employment in RE and EnEffnahen occupations,- teaching staff in vocational schools and trainers in micro and small enterprises as well as medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs),- technical and management personnel of the partner structure as mediators.The call for tenders is assigned to output 1 and 2 of the project and takes place in the following fields of activity:- (Further) development of modules in the field of Solar and EnEff (secondary level) and monitoring of the implementation of courses,- (Further) development of modules in the field of EnEff for energy auditors (tertiary level) and monitoring of the implementation of courses as well as preparation of the presentation to the client,- Implementation and/or monitoring of training of trainers in the field of Solar and EnEff and in the field of energy auditors,- Regular monitoring of the activities carried out and planned and reporting (and supervision of the implementation of the training of trainers in the field of Solar and EnEff) and in the field of energy auditors (and supervision of the implementation of the training of trainers in the field of Solar and EnEff). a.
