Description

Acquisition of (6) total stations for surveying.

The following criteria are required in order to train our future technologists to achieve the skills needed to survey and lay out construction works using industry-related surveying equipment. Components must be (industrial) type

- Semi-robotized (autolock) total station, which can be used in manual mode for educational purposes, with the possibility of upgrading to a fully robotized station in the future.

- Accuracy of at least 5 seconds.

- Comes with a wireless survey book linked to the unit, with a lifetime license (no recurring fees).

- For use by inexperienced students (anti-wear device rotation mechanism guaranteed for life).

- Data can be exported to popular software such as the Office suite (without the need for dedicated, company-branded software that adds annual fees).

- The milestone must have a minimum height of 2.0 meters and be telescopic and adjustable to several heights.

- The supplier must include all milestone accessories.

- The supplier must provide a 1-year warranty for the hardware and software of the logbook and devices.

- Minimum operating temperature -20 0C and below.

- Maximum operating temperature +50 0C and above.

- All equipment must have a shock resistance of 1.2m.

- The logbook must have a minimum autonomy of 8 hours.

- Device batteries must have a minimum autonomy of 5.5 hours.

- Charger and device batteries must be supplied, as well as an additional battery for each device.

- The battery charger should be able to recharge 2 batteries at a time, and provide a conditioning mode to help preserve the batteries.

- Devices must have a minimum of 2GB internal memory.

- Notebook RAM memory must be a minimum of 1GB.

- Notebook storage memory must be a minimum of 2 GB.

- The notebook's operating system must be compatible with Android 10 or Windows EC7.

- Devices and notebooks must be water and dust resistant to IP65 or IP68 standards.

- The device must feature a display that allows you to level the instrument, configure the instrument radio and perform calibration of basic functions and adjustment routines, in the absence of a notebook used with the instrument.

General requirements total station

- The instrument must be fully remote controllable without any cables.

- The instrument must be able to follow a prism automatically without user intervention.

- The system must have a search function that allows a maximum re-acquisition time of 5 seconds.

- User interface (notebook).

- The total station must be able to be used with a wireless notebook.

- The total station must be able to be set to manual mode to simulate the methodology of a mechanical total station.

- The supplier must meet the following requirements for the notebook.

- Be independent of the station.

- Have an integrated 1.0 GHz radio modem, with spread spectrum and frequency hopping; No change.

- Have a full alphanumeric keypad with letters and numbers on separate keys.

- Android 10 operating system.

- Present a color touch screen of at least 5 inches (800 x 480 or better).

- Readable in bright sunlight.

- Minimum battery life of 8 hours.

- Must have at least 1 USB-C port or 1 USB port.

- Provide Bluetooth and/or WIFI wireless communication.

- Be able to connect to the WWAN using 4G LTE.

- Built-in compass.

- Internet access via SIM card.

- Rainproof and dustproof casing (IP65 standards).

- Provide a visual battery charge indicator on any display menu.

- Must enable control of both the robotic total station and the GPS.

- Include a module for surveying and layout.

- Field notebook software must enable.

- Carry out a topographical survey.

- Measurements and line layout.

- Implementing a digital terrain model (DTM).

- Volume calculations.

- COGO functions for calculating polygons.

- The ability to import *.dxf files.

- Implantation from *.dxf files.

- The field notebook software must be in French, and the terms used must correspond to those used in the Quebec surveying industry.

- Software menus must be perfectly adapted to the instrument or notebook screen.

- Data transfer and processing software.

- The supplier must provide French-language software for data transfer. Data transfer software must run in a Windows environment on individual computer workstations.

- The software must enable raw data or coordinates to be converted into a format accessible to all legal or civil surveying software.

General measurement requirements

- The instrument telescope must have the following specifications:

-Coaxial with EDM;

-Magnification: 30x.

- The focus control should be placed on the side panel of the unit to allow the operator to maintain target aiming while adjusting focus.

- The instrument shall have a built-in two-axis compensator centered to within 0.5".

- When aiming at a target in windy conditions that may cause vibrations, the instrument must be able to return to the target position after wind-induced movement (less than 6 minutes arc).

- Focus: 1.7 m to infinity.

- Field of view: 2.7 m to 100m.

Training requirements

- The supplier must provide initial training in the use of the equipment. No software changes for French teachers.

- Members of the department will be required to attend a free training session to familiarize themselves with the equipment.

- The supplier must provide one or more simulators with no physical license key and no point limit, containing the same applications as those existing on the electronic notebook.

- The simulators must run in the Windows environment on individual computer workstations in French.

- Customer support and service center.

- The supplier must be a French-speaking specialist with a fast repair service.

- Accompanied by a fast, free troubleshooting service with a French-speaking contact person online or by phone.
