Description
The Plurinational State of Bolivia, through its Ministry of Health, is inviting bids for the acquisition, distribution, and installation of a wide range of medical and hospital equipment across the country. This initiative is financed by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) under the Support Program for Vulnerable Populations Affected by Coronavirus II.
The supply and installation of ophthalmological equipment needed is:
- micropulsed lasers
- ultrasound scanners
- retinographs
- tomographs
- tonometers
- microscopes
- tuberculosis analysers
- ultra-low volume nebulizers
- air conditioners
The supply and installation of emergency equipment needed is:
- defibrillator
- portable respirators
- transport incubators
- multiparameter monitors
Training and support supplies needed are:
- resuscitation training kits
- ambulance support devices
The procurement follows IDB’s International Public Bidding (IPL) procedures and uses the Best Final Offer (M.O.F.) and Negotiation method. No preference will be given to national contractors.
