The subject matter of the contract is the audit of the annual financial statements of the companies of the Vitos Group and the consolidated financial statements as well as the management reports, taking into account the statutory provisions of commercial law and other special legal standards applicable to psychiatric and somatic hospitals as well as facilities for the disabled and youth welfare. The overall audit period covers the financial years 2023 to 2027. The contract will be concluded as a framework agreement under the terms of which all companies will call for services for subsequent years. The contract is scheduled to be awarded in calendar weeks 35/36-2023 and is subject to approval by the Supervisory Board of Vitos gGmbH. The start of services is 01.10.2023.
The core task of Vitos is the diagnosis and treatment of adults, children and adolescents in psychiatric, psychosomatic and forensic psychiatric clinics. With 3,700 beds/places, the company is the largest provider in Hesse for the outpatient, partial and full inpatient treatment of mentally ill people.Vitos treats around 47,200 physically ill people as outpatients and inpatients in its specialist clinics for neurology and orthopedics.The accompanying psychiatric services are aimed at people with a mental disability, psychiatric rehab at adults with complex psychiatric/psychiatric illnesses, and disability assistance at people with cognitive impairment. There are socio-educational services for adolescents. They offer a total of 2,500 places.11,000 employees at 114 sites in 76 locations generate total annual revenues of 700 million euros. They treat a total of 43,000 inpatients/partial inpatients and 175,000 outpatients.Vitos, that is 18 affiliated non-profit companies in Hesse. The company's headquarters are in Kassel.
