This is a Request for Information (RFI) to conduct market research to determine the availability of vendors capable of providing DaTscan (Ioflupane I-123 Injection) for diagnostic imaging supplies and services for the period of 10/1/2019 - 9/30/2020. This requirement is for the Robley Rex VA Medical Center. This RFI does not guarantee the issuance of an RFQ. If you have the availability to provide the requirement, please respond to this RFI with a capabilities statement.

This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes. It does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. The VA is not, at this time, seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Responders are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI; all costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the interested vendor s expense. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFQ, if any is issued. Any information submitted by respondents to this RFI is strictly voluntary. All submissions become Government property and will not be returned.

Requirement

Authorized employees of the Robley Rex VAMC will be place orders by telephone or by use of the internet to the Contractor. The Contractor will supply phone number(s) and instructions for placing the order. The DaTscan (Ioflupane I-123 Injection) dose will be provided in a shielded container at the request of the Robley Rex VAMC. Deliveries will be made Monday Friday between the hours of 8:00 AM 4:30 PM.

Contractor shall possess a Radioactive Material (RAM) License issued by the United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) or an Agreement State for medical product distribution as identified under 10 CFR Part 32.72 Manufacture, preparation, or transfer for commercial distribution of radioactive drugs containing byproduct material for use under 10 CFR Part 35.

The Contractor will provide a current copy of their RAM License. Contractor will also provide a copy of the RAM License for any separate entity who prepares and/or delivers the DaTscan (Ioflupane I-123 Injection) if applicable. Please note that requirements defined to date may change before a final solicitation is released. RFI requirements are as follows:
