No. 217- Morin Lake – Lagoon and SPS Upgrades, ISC Project No. CT622;   Contract 1 – Lagoon UpgradesA Request to Pre-Qualify (RTP) for Prime Contractors and Underground Contractors process has been completed prior to issuance of these Bid Documents. Only Bids from the pre-qualified Prime contractors shall be opened.  Any Bids received from companies that are not pre-qualified shall be returned to the Bidder unopenedElectronic PDF copies of Bids with the subject line “BID-(CONTRACTOR)–Morin Lake Lagoon and SPS Upgrades; Contract 1 - Lagoon Upgrades” shall be emailed:Saskatoon.Reception@aecom.com, before 2:00:00 p.m., local time, on July 4, 2024.Only electronic Bid submissions will be accepted. Emails will not be opened before 2:00:00 p.m.. Should an issue occurring opening the bid, bidders will be notified within 1 hour of opening the bids.Bids will be opened publicly at the office of AECOM, 200-2100 8th Street East, Saskatoon, SK. The Work generally comprises of the construction of a new flexible geomembrane lined sewage lagoon expansion and the installation of a new flexible geomembrane liner within the existing sewage lagoon including:Site preparation including clearing, grubbing and strippingConstruction of a new flexible geomembrane lined secondary cell and a flexible geomembrane lined primary cell expansionDesludge of existing primary cell and installation of a flexible geomembrane liner in the existing primary and secondary cellsInstallation of a geocomposite and geonet drainage layer under the flexible geomembrane liner on top of the compacted subgrade on the cell floorsInstallation of a non-woven geotextile underlayment under the flexible geomembrane liner on top of the compacted subgrade on the interior cell dyke slopesInstallation of a subdrain piping system within the primary and secondary cell interior subgradesInstallation of geomembrane liner modular composite vent strips and gas vent pipes within the primary and secondary cellsConstruction of a sludge stabilization cellThe work is located near the community of Hall Lake and the Morin Lake Indian Reserve No. 217.Only Bids from the following three Bidders who were shortlisted through the pre-qualification process will be evaluated:Alpha Construction Inc.BTO Contracting Ltd.Con-Tech General Contractors Ltd.Gee Bee Construction Co. Ltd.Kelsey Pipelines Ltd.Copies of the Bid Documents in electronic format will be issued to successfully qualified prime contractors. It is the responsibility of those qualified contractors to distribute documents to suppliers and subcontractors. Bids should be accompanied by Bid Security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Bid Price, payable to the Lac La Ronge Indian Band.
