Germany - 3D-Audio System Multifunctional Studio HfMT Hamburg

Description

The former acting studio (room Grün.UG.107) of the Hamburg University of Music and Theatre is to be used in future as a "multifunctional and experimental studio" and will accommodate both rehearsals and smaller performances of dance and music. Furthermore, the studio will be used for working with three-dimensional audio formats (3D audio / immersive sound). A 3D audio system is to be installed for this purpose.

Part of this tender is the installation of the 3D audio system, consisting of a multitude of compact loudspeakers distributed in the room, a central unit with a 19" rack housing the entire DSP and I/O technology, small offsets and line infrastructure, as well as the entire setup, programming, calibration and commissioning. A special feature is that the loudspeakers to be installed, including accessories, have already been procured as part of a previous measure and are already available at the university.
A high-performance service provider is to be engaged to support the Hamburg University of Music and Theatre in the implementation.
