Description

Government agency is inviting bids for the design and construction of underground transmission lines as part of the Expansion Project of the High-Voltage Transmission System – Phase II, financed by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) Loan OC-PR 5502.

The scope of the contract includes:

* design and construction of approximately 14 km of 220 kV underground transmission lines
Between San Lorenzo – Villa Aurelia and Barrio Molino – Villa Aurelia
* expansion of arrival and departure positions at the substations in San Lorenzo, Villa Aurelia, and Barrio Molino

Execution under a lump sum contract with sole responsibility.

Estimated execution period: 18 months (540 calendar days).

The procurement will follow international public bidding procedures in accordance with IDB guidelines. This project aims to enhance the reliability and capacity of Paraguay’s electrical transmission infrastructure in urban areas.
