Description
Saint John Energy is soliciting proposals for vegetation management services within the Saint John Area, for a three year contract with option to renew for two additional one year terms, including the following:Work, not exceeding, 750 hours is to commence approximately the Month of March 2025 and must be completed no later than the week of November 30th, 2025.Hours for 2026 and 2027 are estimated to be 750-1000 hours each year.Provision of all equipment required to execute the work.All equipment must be in compliance with applicable provincial inspection requirements.Provision of all personnel protective equipment.Provision of traffic management equipment.All resources must be certified in accordance with provincial and Saint John Energy requirements with a minimum of 5 years’ experience.Mobilization & de-mobilization of equipment and resources to Saint John.Daily mobilization & de-mobilization of equipment and resources to specific work areas as designated by Saint John Energy.Provision & documentation of daily job safety assessments.Daily disposal of debris in an approved manner.All tree trimming to be performed to tree trimming standard as per the attached documents: SJ Energy Standard Work Method, SJ Energy Vegetation Management Specification, SCP-9519 and SCP-9519 Clear-cut Zone, 2025-2028 Vegetation Management Statement of Work ***Any exception to the standards must be approved by Saint John Energy.Only the successful bidder will be required to sign the Contractor Responsibility For Safety and Environment Form Saint John Energy’s objective is to select a Contractor that:Is competitive from a competency and cost perspective;Has the ability to meet the required delivery time frame;Meets the required specifications.To achieve the preceding objectives, Saint John Energy is issuing this Request for Proposal (“RFP”) to solicit proposals for work as described in the Scope Details.EVALUATION CRITERIASaint John Energy will be using an evaluation process based on the following Key Selection Criteria and without limiting Saint John Energy’s ability to take into account any other criteria Saint John Energy considers relevant:Pricing – (50%)Quality of Service Proposal and experience from similar projects – (30%)Availability - (15%)Environmental Clean Up and Disposal/Sustainability – (5%)
