Description
The project focuses to stabilize two (2) at-risk sites along the right bank of the West Humber River between Mountainash Road and Torbram Road. The project limits are located in Carabram Park, Brampton, Ontario, within TRCA property. Site 1, situated upstream of the Eagleridge Drive Pathway, displays moderate scouring along the right bank which extends 12.5 meters in length, is 0.2 meters wide, and reaches a height of 1.2 meters, with an undercut depth of 0.6 meters. This erosion is notably close to the pedestrian park trail, at a distance of only 0.8 meters.Site 2, positioned downstream of the Eagleridge Drive Pathway, displays bank erosion across several sections of the right bank, including toe erosion and a tree failure at the mid-section with an undercut of 0.4 meters. The proximity to the pedestrian park path is approximately 1.0 meter.
