  • Explore how geopolitical shifts and 200 years of UK–Brazil ties shape current economic opportunities.
  • Identify strategic UK sectors open to Brazilian investment and collaboration.

Description

Brazil is the UK’s largest trading partner in Latin America, with total trade in goods and services reaching over £12 billion in the four quarters to the end of Q1 2025. As the UK deepens its commercial ties, Brazil’s growth trajectory and accelerating energy transition are opening new opportunities for collaboration across sectors such as clean energy, life sciences, and advanced engineering.

This webinar, delivered in partnership with the British Chamber of Commerce and featuring the Prime Minister’s Trade Envoy to Brazil, Lord Evans, will provide timely reflections on his recent visit to the country and share first-hand insights into the UK’s trade priorities. The session will explore how 200 years of bilateral ties, coupled with current geopolitical and economic shifts, are shaping opportunities for UK exporters and investors.

By attending, participants will better understand the strategic sectors where UK expertise aligns with Brazil’s ambitions, and how increased engagement can create pathways for trade, investment, and long-term partnerships.
