Description
This session will focus on the English-speaking Caribbean—a region with growing opportunities and increasingly aligned with the UK’s strategic priorities. With strong potential in infrastructure, life sciences, and renewable energy, the Caribbean offers attractive prospects in sectors central to the UK’s Industrial Strategy. UK companies bring world-class expertise in these areas, and with robust support from UK Export Finance (UKEF) and active investment from regional development banks, the region is primed for UK firms to win contracts and forge impactful partnerships.
The session will also highlight how UK businesses can use their expertise to contribute meaningfully to the Caribbean’s ambitious development goals. Comprising 12 distinct markets, the region also presents a valuable platform for UK export-ready SMEs to grow, scale, and engage with real commercial opportunities.
