Capital Markets
Deep and liquid capital markets are at the heart of the UK’s offer as a global financial centre. The City of London continues to be a key partner in providing financing for Middle East businesses that are looking to grow and hedge risks, connecting them to institutional and private investors, and to global markets and financial instruments. For example, £37.88bn ($49.8bn) capital was raised in Saudi Arabia in 2024, of which £452.64m ($595m) was green and £15.75bn ($20.7bn) was sukuk.
