She has been BD and Investment Directors in leading medical device companies, accumulating rich experiences in the investment + incubation + operation model, as well as early-stage incubation and investment in ophthalmology translational innovation products.

Cyndi Zhai, Founding Partner of HiMed Angle Fund Management

Cyndi holds the Chinese Institute of Certified Public Accountants (CICPA), International Technology Transfer Manager (RTTP) and rich experience in Business, Tax, Finance and Investment.

HiMed Angle Fund Management is a venture capital fund founded in 2015 and based in Shanghai China, dedicated to early-stage life science projects. The firm invests in early-stage life science ventures from Seed to Series A. HiMed also has accelerator programmes in China. In 2024, HiMed opened its office in UK, aiming to support more UK companies entering China market.

James Foster, CEO, Virax Biolabs
