Description

The Ministry of Education of the Republic of Panama, with the
financial support of an aid funded business, has
initiated an international bidding process as part of a programme to improve the efficiency and quality of the education sector.

This initiative seeks to strengthen the technological infrastructure of the national education system, through the acquisition and implementation of solutions that strengthen the Ministry's data centres.

The Organization of Ibero-American States for Education, Science and Culture (OEI) acts as the executing agency of this call. This includes the contracting of:

• equipment licenses
• implementation services
• technical support
• training

This effort responds to the need to modernize data management and ensure solid and sustainable technological support for the Panamanian education sector.
