Invitation to tender for annual maintenance of the war cemetery in Gdansk
German War Cemetery Gdansk, Ul. Gen. H. Dabrowskiego 2, Gdansk
(54 ÌŠ21'28.15''N; 18 38'11.36''E)
The war cemetery to be maintained is located in the main municipal cemetery of Gdansk. The cemetery is located on today's "Dabrowskiego Street" (formerly "Am Hagelsberg") and has existed since the 18th century. The "Garrison Cemetery" is located here. This used to be located outside the town's fortifications. A small cemetery for fallen soldiers of the Second World War was laid out here alongside a cemetery for the dead of the 1870/71 and 1914/18 wars. Next to it, on the site of the First World War, an extension area was created for additional burials. The war cemeteries of 1870/71 and 1914/18 have been listed since 1961.
The total area of the war cemetery is approx. 6,894 m². The maintenance work consists mainly of grass cutting, as well as the care and cleaning of sealed surfaces and inventory.
Annual maintenance is sought for the war cemetery areas totaling 6,894 m².
