The Youth Guarantee brings together new and existing support to ensure all young people aged 16 to 24 are earning and learning. It offers employers access to training, financial incentives and a pipeline of young talent to help you fill skills gaps and build your future workforce including:
- Funding for apprenticeships
- Bespoke support to help design sector specific training programmes and work experience opportunities
- Access to local Youth Hubs that help to match employers to talent in your local area
- Administrative support onboarding Universal Credit customers into available roles
Employers can also access financial incentives when hiring young people, including exemptions from employer National Insurance contributionsopens www.gov.uk in a new tab for workers under 21 and apprentices under 25 (for wages below £50,270 a year).
